I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Data and Web Science Group (University of Mannheim, Germany).

I obtained the PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Wolverhampton (UK), where I had the pleasure to be a member of the Research Group in Computational Linguistics.

Since 2012, my research was mainly focused on "New Data-Driven Approaches to Text Simplification" (PhD thesis), conducted under the supervision of Prof. Ruslan Mitkov (University of Wolverhampton, UK), Dr. Constantin Orasan (University of Wolverhampton, UK) and Prof. Horacio Saggion (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain).
